Born and raised on the shores of Lake Garda, I was initially fascinated by the world of flying and aviation thanks to my father who was a military pilot. Then, living in this beautiful place, the “call” of water became stronger and stronger so I was able to get in touch with very high-level activities in both the world of regatta and leisure sailing, thus easily ranging from the America’s Cup to the developememt of Maxi Sail Yachts.

All this has made it possible to enormously expand my horizons linked to my passion for water. After the long “international” parenthesis, I was in fact, for some years in command of a historic sailing ship sailing right on Lake Garda.

Now I am happy to start a collaboration in Lake Como with Bellagio Sailing as the skipper of Dama di Bellagio.

I began sailing dinghies when I was 15 on Lake Como , then I eventually cross the Atlantic for the first time in 2006 while I was studying geology at the University, and year after year my passion became a real job, that make me sail across the oceans on boats from Oceanis 36’ to Swan 76’. In around 10 years of time I did 30.000+ NM of deliveries and charter, both as captain and crew in the Med, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. From 2010 to 2018 I worked as skipper and first mate on different kind of sail boats everywhere in the world.

In 2019 Carlo gave me the opportunity to start a collaboration with Bellagio Sailing as skipper of Stai Serena
